A Fruitful+Colorful Year of 2009!

*laugh out loud*

*Clear throat*

I'm BACK! . . . . again. .

I don't how many times I'm going to repeat this, but, yes, I know! I know I haven't been blogging for hell of a DAMN LONG WHILE! I'm utterly "inconsolable" for that. ( see how I came up with those words aye? *Grinned* ) It had been ages ever since the previous entry! I've been told, nagged, begged, ??threaten?? to give a new post, literally! I never bothered to put the effort in finding the time to do so. But, Hey! Now I've finally come to my senses that I am responsible for this deserted blog. C'mon guys, take it easy aye?

Below are the missed-out entries I was supposed to posts:

  • The Diving Experience
  • The Dubai Trip
  • Not Just Any Other Christmas Day
  • Diving like No Place like Mabul!
  • Adiós 2009; Hola 2010
  • The Birthday Surprise
  • Non-Other CNY Like The One In Hometown!
  • The Taiwan Trip
  • Should I Get A Girlfriend Already? (Non-existing)
  • Ending Days of Kota Kinabalu Life

And again, I really haven't been putting much efforts into blogging recently, and I'm sorry I kept you all waiting. I'll try my best to pay up some of the above miss-out posts, otherwise I'll summarized them in this post.

Now let's get into some business! It's the first post of the year of 2010! I know it's like July now, but I still have to give thanks for the year of 2009. 2009 have been, not only the most fruitful year in these 20 years of my life, but also the most wonderful year to give thanks for! What I've been through in 2009 is absolutely out of my wildest imagination! I've flew to places that I've never been before, experiencing new things, meetings a lot, I got to emphasize on this, a lot of new friends!

Places I've been:

Hong Kong

Dubai

Mabul

Perth

I've been to 3 different countries in a year. I know some of your had been to several countries in a year, but not me. Being able to visit other places, experiencing other culture had always been great! If you followed my blog ever since the 1st post, you'll know that I had a partial life of 2009 in Perth, I stayed there for a delightful time of 2 months. Then I went to Hong Kong with Mom and Aunties in August. As boring as it sounded, I did, however, managed to divert myself into shopping spree mood! There comes November, The Dubai Trip! Never had I ever thought that I will be able to go to Dubai. I always think that only stinking rich people are able to afford such trip. Fortunately, my cousin worked there, so our living cost for those 10 days had been thankfully lessened. Right after Christmas, I went to dive in Mabul with, YeeVen. Diving in Mabul was not just like any ordinary place. It was an AWESOME experience!

Remarkable Experiences:

Life in Perth

Life in Kota Kinabalu

Getting my Diving License

(Yes, a total idiot aye?)

Like I said, I've stayed in Perth for a couple of months. It was my very first time staying away from home, alone. I couldn't take it at first (that's why I came back). But as times goes by, I adapted the life there and met bunch of God loving friends like Eunice and Nathan. Not to say, this blog was created in Perth :) And the day to leave was hard to take also. I was awfully remorse for my decision of coming back for good :( Well, you made mistakes once in a while in life right?

Through with that, I had pretty much a hectic life in Kota Kinabalu. Hectic as in, I'm pretty much occupied by friends, lots and lots of entertainments, and of course, studies too. I hardly even find time to attend cells. God had blessed me with loads of friends in K.K. namely Jade, Sharon, Brian, Stanley, and some I don't even remember their names. Not to say, I've learned a lot while I had my life in K.K. It pretty much heighten the standard of my maturity and widen my scope of perceptions. I'm very much grateful for that! I also managed to get my diving license while I was there. Diving is such a good recreation. Experiencing underwater world yourself is nothing like the ones you saw on TV! Oh, it's just more beyond words!

There are much of to tell about 2009 but I think I got restrain myself. This post is extensive! Am I blessed for the year of 2009? Yes, I am! There were some ups and downs too. But over-coming the obstacles made me even more grateful for it! So, now, what's up for 2010? I've set some personal goals for myself this year:

  • Finished up the Bible ( 66 books more to go )
  • Travel to more than 3 countries
  • Get into a University ( seriously! )
  • Be nice at all time ( and you think it's easy )
  • Get new camera gears!
  • Get a girlfriend ( Just Joking )
  • Learn to love others more
  • Live life to the fullest!

Oops! This post is way too long than I expected. That's what happens when you don't blog for half a year! Well, there you go guys. First post of the year. Stay "Bookmarked" for the next post. No precise date, but very soon! Adiós gente!

I purposely colored up some of the important words and changed the size of the font to make it more fun to read. Not so boring with plain white words. So, Did it worked? Just for fun^^

I ♥ iPhone

Yes! Another entry in less than a week, told you I'm back on blogging!

When Maxis signed a contract with Apple on iPhone, I got a lot of "Oh, she is using iPhone!" "OH!! That dude has an iPhone!" It was an iPhone fever! It had been long since I set my eyes on iPhone 3G. Remembered when I was in Perth, Nathan and I spent nights debating on iPhone or Blackberry. We were so impatient to get an iPhone A.S.A.P! Needless to say, we failed. Seeing people using iPhone made me a green-eyed monster. You got into the train, you see people using iPhone. You go everywhere, people are all using iPhone.

Then, when I got back to Malaysia, knowing Maxis is constantly promoting iPhone plans. I, still, did not give up to possess one! After lots of consultations, I was indecisive. So, I waited! Waiting for the right time, the right moment to seize my prey!
HA! Spotted! New iPhone 3G(s), Maxis Value iPlan 1, Monthly fee RM100 for 12 months, Free 333minutes local call, free 100 sms, free 500GB data, RM200 down payment, RM1990 for the phone, worth it? O.K. On!

Went to Maxis and registered. Apologies to inform you all that I have change my line from Digi to Maxis. Sorry for any inconvenience. So, I registered and she said I needed to wait for at least 30 days. I was like, " WTF?!" 30 days!! I thought I could get it right after. Oh well, so there, I wait again. Within 20 days, the phonAlign Centere had arrived, and just yesterday I went to pick up new toy home! *grinned*
iPhone 3G(s)
Just one a day that I have spent with my iPhone, I still haven't came across any problem with it yet. As soon as it disappoint me, I will update u all. Hopefully this is my 1st iPhone of many to come! So now I am taking my new toy for a trip - Dubai. In fact, I'm in KLIA now, waiting for my flight. Hope I have great time there and have a wider view of the world. I will update you all as soon as I got back! ( I know I said that a lot-.-) Adios, guys!

P.S. Nathan, I got mine dy! When is yours??

One Big Family Under One Big God - St. Patrick's Academy

OH! Finally have the initiative to write another post. Really sorry for your waiting and thanks a lot for you patience. Times is pack in college life! Well, partly is schooling, other parts are DotA-ing, and napping. No worries, I'm back into blogging now!

For you information, I'm back in home town. Nope, sad to say, my holiday has not started yet! I'm only back for the weekend, mainly for the St. Patrick's Academy's Awards Night! My flight was delayed, estimated I will be late for the opening. Still, did all I could to be earlier after departed from the plane. I ran out of the arrival hall and sought for Mom's car. Called her twice, no picking up. Third time, she picked up and said " You didn't remind me that I me that you are coming back today~" I went wild!!

Good thing is, Ze Hao was at the same plane as I was, and he, too, was rushing to SPA too! Thanks for his understanding parents, his dad speeded along the highway and we were earlier than we estimated. Phew~

Now, you may asked, " Why rush? Why SPA Awards Night? What is it so important that I have to fly all the way from K.K. back home just for that night?"

I, really don't have answer. St. Patrick Academy is like a home to me. Supervisors are like parents, they taught me a lot. Sometimes, conflicts may arise. We put hatred aside and we learn from each other. We made jokes, we laugh, we had fun. The students, Juniors and Seniors, they are like siblings. A school with only 100 over students, it won't take much time to know each one of them well. SPA is like a family to me, for 6 years, I have spent my teenage life there and it has been productive.

I have learned a lot from this school both in education and character wise. It's through SPA that I have known many heart-to-heart friends. It's through SPA that I have came to know Christ. It's through SPA that I get connected to church. It's through SPA that I have become who I am now. Imagine I were to be in any other government schools, I might be a "bigger bully" or come to worst, a drop-out.

There would be too much to say what I or other students have been through in SPA. Many had judge this school at it's cover, but saying it from heart, it is a really nice school when you get to know it. I believe most SPA ex-students would agree with me. It's not just a school, it's one big family under one God. From Principal to Supervisors to Students, I thank you all for all the years, and I prayed that this family will be more fruitful in the years to come!

Biggest Yet To See

Well, well, I think I'm back into the mood for blogging again. Not particularly "into the mood," but new and interesting things are coming into my life again. Just like when I was in Perth, lots of things were new. Well, K.K. isn't so much bigger and advance than Perth, but sure she had a lot of interesting stuff that I've yet to see.

Yesterday, I was planning to go home right after school, due to the lacking of sleeping and money. Knowing that Eunice is having her holiday and enslaving myself on Harry Potter before bed, I have been going to bed really late. And of course, chatting with a newly met friend, YeeVen, has been keeping me up late too! On the other side, Money! Oh, money! I was so determined to save up for my diving license, a new lens for my D40x, but time after times, money just don't love me after all.

Right back to where I left... Oh yes, Yesterday! Planning to go home right after school, but a friend from Sarawak was going back to Tawau, transiting in K.K., so we have to spare our free time for her. After that, we had our dinner in KK Time Square. Ze Kuan told us that there is a restaurant named Pitstop, serve real BIG pizza, so we went to have a try. Before dining, we were planning to wait for Ze Kuan, since he will be having dinner alone. So we walked around in KK Time Square, and this is what happen. . .
Playing Lego in Kids Avenue
Taking pictures around the fountain
I did it!

We ran out of patience and we were starving, so we decided to go into the shop to order while waiting for Ze Kuan. Of course, we ordered the "Big" pizza. I, myself, order a sandwich which was somewhat alike with the Subway's 6 inch. The pizza was finally ready to be served, still, Ze Kuan isn't here yet. It's not all rounded, but rather rectangular, with 15 pieces in 2 flavors!
Big huh?
Sorry ya, Kuan, we eat 1st.
My sandwich sure have a bit of Subway's feel.
And again, we are still waiting for Ze Kuan, we are already glutted with pepperoni and cheese and bread. Each of us could only ingest 2 pieces and we were done! It's too much for us to handle. There were only us in the restaurant, and the restaurant is about to close. Without any more waiting and my the waiter's life easier, we packed the left over, paid and left.

We could have finish it if the Cheows Brother were there! The next time we go there, we are gonna own that pizza! But, after all, it's a really quiet and nice place to dine. They don't normally have much people, probably it was Monday. It's quite a place to held a yes-you-have-to-eat kinda party too. The biggest pizza ever? Well, yet to see. Adios!

P.S. Ze Kuan was really busy that night, probably next time, Kuan..

Tanjung Aru Trip, Check!

Vui Ken came to K.K. to visit us on his Hari Raya holiday. He came for 5 days. Because I went back to Tawau, again, so I only get to spend time with him for 2 nights. Last night, we drove around K.K. just to look for transvestite, also known as "Ah Gua." The 1st time I saw an Ah Gua was in Tawau, which are "average." But the Ah Guas in K.K. are so pretty and not to say, sexy!!

I know, I know, it's very rude just to drive around in town to look for transvestites. Even transvestite are human, we shouldn't have shunned upon them nor despite, though, sometimes it's just hard to resist xD. I just don't understand them. But, only once in a long long while will we lure them again . After all, it was a good experience.

Tonight was Vui Ken's last night in K.K., so we went to sit around in Tanjung Aru. Talk, play, take photos. It was kinda fun, just to chill and the night view over there was nice, with dim light. We took a lot of nice pictures, Ze Kuan wanted to be credited.. So, Thanks You, Ross!
Leon, Ze Hao and I
Alvin, Vui Ken, Me, Leon and Hao

Then after sitting on the beach for about 2 hours, we went to walk around in Tanjung Aru. Because there are 6 of us, so we dare to go anywhere, explore every corner. We walked to the other side of Tanjung Aru, it was all dark but the pathway are nicely cemented with patterns. So we thought it should be fine walking in, despite the total darkness. There, we found a place where there are colorful lights. It was very surprising to see such a place in the dark surrounded by trees.
Isn't this nice?
This one was a retake
Align Center

And the picture of the day was...

For more pictures, you all can visit my Facebook account, due to the dodgy connection, it will take me sometimes to upload all the pictures. Do bare with me! It's almost 6 in the morning now, and I can hear the birds outside singing, I think I should sleep now. Good Morning, Guys!

Finally had my hair CUT!

After a long persisting 8 no-I-don't-want-to-cut-my-hair months, I finally tore down my persistency to had my hair cut for the 1st time of the year 2009. Most of the people around me used different ways to asked me to had them cut. It's like, " Eh, I lend you money, please, go cut your hair la," or " Miss Wong, bila you gonna cut you hair, long dy, know?" Before the hair had become too long and gets annoying, those everyday-encounter-lines had, no doubt, annoyed me already.

The reason I want to keep my hair long is that I never tried before. Someone told me that, if I were to keep my hair long, now it's a good time. You won't have the chance once you got a job, a decent job. Now, I've tried, it's really kinda annoying to have long hair. Hard to keep them neat and need to tie them up everyday. Here are some of the irritating experiences that I've encounter with my long hair:
  • It's not just warm, it's HOT!!
  • When you're sleeping, the fringe tends to drop in front of your nose, covering your whole face. And when you in or ex-haling, the hair will tends to go up, and drop, up and drop. Can you feel me now??
  • Lastly, you can't even see the ball when you play soccer. -.-
When I went into the saloon, told him I need a hair cut, the barber stared at me for awhile, said, " Dude, I really don't how am I gonna cut your hair so that it won't be a waste." While he was cutting them, he was like, "Oh no, habis lor, no more lor!" It took him an hour to had them done.
Before hair cut..
After hair cut..
Then Alvin told a lame joke, " Later you go back home ah, your Mom will be like, ' eh, how come my daughter become a boy dy' " -.-

..my hair..
But after all, I still miss my long hair, I think I'm gonna had it long again... let's see, next year? hee..
Job's done, I'm Out!
